This master's level course will give students an opportunity to explore loss and grief from a variety of perspectives; that exploration will lead toward greater skillfulness in being helpful to others dealing with the issues of grief.

Traumatic Loss Support Group

Eight-week group offered two times each year
Swedish/Edmonds Hospital, Edmonds

This eight-week group is for people who have lost a loved one suddenly and traumatically. This includes car accidents, drug overdoses, homicide, or other types of accidental deaths. If you are interested in attending this group, please call the Swedish/Edmonds Bereavement Program at 425-640-4404.

Survivor of Suicide Support Group

Eight week group offered two times each year
Swedish/Edmonds Hospital, Edmonds

This eight-week group is for people who have lost a loved one to suicide. We also are a host site for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's healing conference on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, which is International Survivors of Suicide Day. Journey of Grief Support Group

Six week group offered Fall, Winter and Spring
Swedish/Edmonds Hospital, Edmonds

This six-week group is for people who are looking for a safe, confidential place to discuss the death of a loved one, and how they are coping. If you are interested in attending this group, please call the Swedish/Edmonds Bereavement Program at 425-640-4404.

Reclaiming Your Life Support Group

Six or eight week group offered periodically by Cancer Lifeline

This group is for people who are at least three months out from completion of treatment for any type of cancer. If you are interested in attending this group, please call CancerLifeline at 206-832-1297.

Private Practice Building Group

Four month group available for therapists periodically
Seasons Office Suite, Edmonds

This four month group helps therapists create a foundation for a thriving private practice. The group uses a combination of lecture, discussion, exercises and lots of fieldwork. If you are interested in attending this group, please call 425-299-7753.
